Kel-lee's Yorkies

"Brooke"

Hi ! my name is Kel-lee's One Step Ahead, but my friends call me "Brooke". I was going to be a show dog, but I was too light & a little bit big. Now I live with my Mom and the other yorkies. Mom calls me her "best friend". I sit with her in the chair when she works (?) on her computer. She needs me to teach the little kids how to behave like REAL YORKIES !!! But most of all she needs me to love.

This is Mr. Art Montoya with me at the Y.T.C.G.L.A. and Y.T.C.A. Specialties in june, 1994. Art showed both me and Mom's beloved "Cory". We loved Art and we were heartbroken when he was lost to us in July 1997. We treasure the time we were privileged to share with this warm, kind hearted man. Mom says she knows that Art is loving Cory at the Rainbow Bridge just as he did here on earth...

She left me with a broken heart for the bridge in August, 2006.
I miss her so terribly.

My name is "DJ" at home but my "big" name is Ch. Montclair Self Starter.
I am a very recent arrival at Kel-lee's
and I have made myself at home with
"Salty" and "PJ" (we get a little
confused when Mom calls one of us though!). Mom is very proud to
announce my arrival in California!

generously allowed me to spend my "retirement" at Kel-lee's.   My new
Mom is very grateful to Kathleen and
we both want to send a very special
thank you for her kindness - she is a
very special lady that Mom greatly
admires!!

My breeder is Jay Ammon. It is with
deepest gratitude that we acknowledge
her expertise and love of the Yorkshire Terrier breed.   We wish to thank
Jay for her friendship over the years.

"Salty"

I am Montclair Slightly Salty better known as just "Salty". Mom says I'm the "Alpha Dog" ?? I don't know what that means, but I'll tell you this... I rule this household with an iron paw. They all know who's the boss around here ! Mom says I'm very special to her ' cause I came to help her not hurt so much when Cory went to the Rainbow Bridge.

Mom brought me home from Washington where my breeder, Jay Ammon lives. Mom needs me to take care of her so obviously I'm a very important and busy guy. Mom says I read her mind ! Being real "macho" and all, I don't make a big deal over it, but I love her just as much as she loves me.

"Travis"

I'm Travis..."Ch.Bejaze Best ' Cause I'm Kel-lee's".I was terrific in the ring and always had a wonderful time showing. Mom is very proud of me. Pretty cute, aren't I ? I came to Kel-lee's from my breeder, Linda Bush of Bejaze Yorkies. PJ (Ch.Kel-lee's Pride & Joy) and I have the same sire... BISS Ch.Bejaze Cause I'm The Best. He's a real "Big Shot".
