Ann-Marie was appointed
Assistant Director at The Jasper School in 1992, then known as The Dance Center, where
throughout her years growing up, she received her training from Arlene Gilbert. She earned
her role as soloist in 1986 with the school's senior resident dance troupe, The Classical
Ensemble. During her high school years, she received high accolades in the dance world
with first place honors in both regional and national competition. Upon her graduation
from Cumberland High School, Ann-Marie furthered her education at The Boston Conservatory,
where she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Dance in 1992. Throughout
her college years, she continued her membership with The Classical Ensemble and she
instructed classes at The Dance Center.
She has performed with The Boston Conservatory, the State Ballet of Rhode Island, and
The JASPER Ballet, where she has also volunteered time serving as Artistic Director.
Ann-Marie is delivering her knowledge of dance to the children at The Jasper School, while
working closely with Arlene Gilbert to bring the seeds of creativity and talent to
fruition. |
