Welcome to our home here in the Smokey Mountains of North Carolina. Ray and I moved here a few years ago from Charleston SC. We wanted a quiet place to live and raise our Yorkies where they could run and play. We have had pet Yorkies for over 17 years. We did not intend to start breeding them but as they say "you can't have just one" and so we decided to go into breeding and showing of quality Yorkshire Terriers.

Our goal is to raise healthy, happy pups with the correct temperament, size and color. The Yorkies have the run of the house most of the time BUT they do have their own room, which we built for them onto our home. They have their own fenced in area where they can run and romp or just sun themselves on the back deck.

We like to keep our babies till they are at least 12 weeks of age to make sure they are well adjusted and ready for their new homes. The pups will have had at least 2 puppy shots before they go home to their new owners. Once they are weaned they get to play with our other grown Yorkies, and of course our beagle (Baby) who thinks she is a yorkie. They also get to play with our grandchildren when they visit. Once a puppy leaves our home we like to keep in touch because --- they are still our babies too.

We hope you will come back to visit our site, and thanks for stopping by today.

Ch. Sonnel's Lady Bug of Ponderosa
"Doodlebug", as she is affectionately known, is our first champion.
She is now our foundation bitch for our future homebred Show kids.

We acquired Doodlebug from Tammie & Joyce of Pnderosa Reg'd Yorkshire Terriers. o
