Puppy buyers beware of breeders
with just "registered" puppies for sale. If you think you are purchasing a
purebred AKC dog you need to ask:
1) if it is AKC registered, 2) if it is not AKC but the breeder has the dogs registered
with another registry ask if it is a purebred (of whatever breed you think you are
purchasing) or if it is a "registered" miscellaneous category mix breed of 2
purebred dogs. There are some registries who will register mix breed dogs into a
miscellanous classification.
