My
heart leaps up when
I
behold
a Rainbow in the
Sky......
William
Wordsworth
Here
are some of our
Sheltie Kids
waiting
for us at Rainbow
Bridge......

There
is a bridge connecting
Heaven & Earth,
It
is called the Rainbow
Bridge because of
its colors.
Just
this side of the
Rainbow Bridge there
is a land of
meadows,
hills and valleys
with lush green
grass.
When
a beloved pet dies,
the pet goes to
this place.
There
is always food and
water and warm spring
weather.
The
old and frail animals
are young again.
Those who
are
maimed are made
whole. They
play together all
day.
There
is only one thing
missing: They are
not with
their
special person who
loved them on Earth.
Each
day they run and
play until the day
comes
when
one suddenly stops
playing and looks
up!
The
nose twitches!
The ears are up!
The eyes are staring!
And
this one suddenly
runs from the group.
You
have been seen,
and when you and
your special friend
meet,
you
take him in your
arms again, and
you look once
more
into the eyes of
your trusting friend.
Then
you cross the Rainbow
Bridge together,
NEVER
AGAIN TO BE SEPARATED!

I
Will Remember you............

to 9-9-2007
I
will remember you...............
As
you danced your
little dance when
I would say
"Daddy's
home!" listening
to the sweet sound
of
your little "ARF,
ARF, ARF..........
While nervously
on the grooming
table your little
leg
would shake and
quiver.............
Your
first boat ride
when you bailed
out to
swim
for LAND.................
You
were such a little
gentlemen that you
would
wait
for your buddy Scarlet
before you would
go
outside to play.................

Most
of all because you
came into our lives
to heal
our hearts from
the loss of another.............
"Cochise"
Me
and my brother were
playing one day,
when! "Out
he barked!!,
Someone is headed
this way!"
"You hide in
back, and I'll hide
inside, and with
any luck, they won't
decide.
I was the runt.
The one they said
wouldn't go.
I squirmed and I
wiggled as hard
as I could;
but she said!! COCHISE,
Please be good!
Out of the drive!
and down the road!
I barked for my
brother, but he
understood.
I felt the warmth
of her kind hand.
Then I thought,
OOOOOH! NOW I UNDERSTAND!
There was food and
drink, and --- then
I saw a toy ---
And my mommy said,
"That's for
my boy!"
As the days went
by, we became best
friends.
You taught me your
ways, with a gentle
hand.
Then for me, it
was easy to understand.
I wasn't really
a dog! I was their
little boy!
Now it was time
to spread some joy.
From the mountains
to the sea
I would take them
with me.
"And no one
goes anywhere unless
ya take me!"
I Loved them more
and more each day,
So nothing was to
get in my way!
I drove the truck
and the tractor
too
And my daddy said,
"They're just
for you!"
I
was mommies "Lt'L
Chief Cochise"
... and now I'm
gone....
There's
so much grief, and
that's wrong!
Shed no more tears,
and smile each day;
and if you do this,
I'll show you the
way!
And when the golden
sun is sinking....
And your hearts,
for cares is free...
When sometimes you
are thinking...
Want you sometimes
think of me...

This little guy

We always said this

seen move.
Dart
was an Aussie &
could do a minute
in 30 seconds!
He holds a dear
and very special
place in my heart.
